1. INFORMATION FOR THE USER

Who is responsible for processing your personal data?

COPEMAR, S.A., hereinafter the “DATA CONTROLLER”, informs the USER that it has an official profile on the following Social Network: LinkedIn.

The DATA CONTROLLER will process the personal data that the user provides or makes public through said profiles, in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April (GDPR) and Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December (LOPDGDD).

The information relating to such processing is provided below:

Why do we process your personal data?

Purpose of the processing: to maintain a relationship between the USER and the DATA CONTROLLER, which may include the following operations:

On what grounds may we process your personal data?

Legal basis for the processing: Article 6.1.a GDPR — the data subject has given consent for the processing of his or her personal data for one or more specific purposes. The USER has a profile on the same social network and has chosen to join the DATA CONTROLLER’s social network, thereby showing interest in the information published on it. Consequently, at the moment of requesting to follow our official profiles, the USER provides consent for the processing of the personal data published on their profile.

The USER may access the social network’s own privacy policies at any time, as well as configure their profile to safeguard their privacy.

The DATA CONTROLLER has access to and processes the USER’s public information, in particular their contact name. This data is only used within the social network itself and will only be incorporated into a file held by the DATA CONTROLLER when necessary to process the USER’s request.

How long will we keep your personal data?

Data retention criteria: the data will be kept for as long as the USER does not withdraw the consent given, as indicated in this privacy policy.

Who do we share your personal data with?

The information that the USER publishes or provides through the DATA CONTROLLER’s social networks, including their personal data, may be visible to other users of the social network, depending on the privacy settings and the services used.

The USER may manage at any time, through their profile settings, what information they wish to make public, review the permissions granted, modify or delete them, and disable third-party applications they no longer wish to use.

No disclosure of personal data to third parties outside the social network itself is envisaged, except where necessary to fulfil the purposes of the processing. In such cases, the data may only be disclosed to service providers related to communications, with whom the DATA CONTROLLER has entered into the corresponding confidentiality and data processing agreements, in accordance with current data protection regulations.

What are your rights?

Rights available to the USER: these can only be satisfied in relation to information that is under the control of the DATA CONTROLLER.

2. USE OF THE PROFILE

The DATA CONTROLLER will carry out the following actions:

The USER can always control their connections, remove content that no longer interests them, and restrict with whom they share their connections; to do so, they must access their privacy settings.

3. POSTS

Once the USER follows or has joined the DATA CONTROLLER’s social network, they may post comments, links, images, photographs, or any other type of multimedia content supported by it. In all cases, the USER must be the owner of the content posted, hold the copyright and intellectual property rights to it, or have obtained the consent of any affected third parties.

Any posting on the social network — whether text, graphics, photographs, videos, etc. — that violates or is liable to violate morality, ethics, good taste or decency, and/or that infringes, violates or breaches intellectual or industrial property rights, the right to one’s own image, or the law, is expressly prohibited.

In such cases, the DATA CONTROLLER reserves the right to remove the content immediately, without prior notice, and may request the permanent blocking of the USER.

The DATA CONTROLLER will not be held responsible for content freely posted by a USER.

The USER must bear in mind that their posts will be seen by other users, and that they themselves are primarily responsible for their own privacy.

Images that may be posted on the social network will not be stored in any file by the DATA CONTROLLER, but they will remain on the social network.

4. DATA RELATING TO MINORS OR PERSONS REQUIRING LEGAL REPRESENTATION OR SUPPORT

Access to and registration through the DATA CONTROLLER’s social networks is prohibited for persons under 14 years of age. Likewise, where the USER requires legal representation or support, the intervention of the person exercising parental responsibility or guardianship, or of their legal representative, will be required. Such representation must be duly evidenced by a valid document.

The DATA CONTROLLER shall be expressly exempt from any liability that may arise from the use of the social networks by minors or persons requiring legal representation or support.

The DATA CONTROLLER’s social networks do not knowingly collect any personal information from minors; therefore, if the USER is a minor, they must not register, use the DATA CONTROLLER’s social networks, or provide any personal information.
