The project fits into challenge 2 of the 2015 call for the FEDER INNTERCONECTA program entitled “Food safety and quality; Productive and sustainable agricultural activity, natural resources, marine research and welfare “and its execution period is from July 2015 to December 2017. Su realización se lleva a cabo casi al 100% en la comunidad autónoma de Galicia, con un presupuesto estimado de 2.195.781,00, el cual es cofinanciado por el Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico Industrial del MAPAMA y por los Fondos Europeos de Desarrollo Regional (FEDER).

The global approach is INNOVATION IN FISH PROCESSING. It seeks to preserve the quality of fishery products caught. On the one hand on board, reducing the manipulation of the same and adding value with new technologies of processing and processing, and on the other hand on land, innovating in the processes of conservation in a way that is possible the processing and processing after freezing. It is proposed to research and develop innovative technologies for processing on board, and processing and conservation on land, thus establishing 4 activities to develop:

  • ACTIVITY 1: DEVELOPMENT OF AN INNOVATIVE SYSTEM FOR THE CLASSIFICATION OF SQUID ON BOARD.
  • ACTIVITY 2: DESIGN AND VALIDATION OF FILETADORA FOR FISH OF SMALL SIZE.
  • ACTIVITY 3: INNOVATION OF PROCESSING OF LEEKE AND AUSTRALIAN LANGOSTINO IN EARTH.
  • ACTIVITY 4: DEVELOPMENT OF EVISCERATOR MACHINE OF FRESH FLEET.
This project aims to preserve quality, increase food security by reducing the degradation of fish due to handling and processing processes, as well as the use of appropriate conservation methodologies.
